BUILDERS AND WARRIORS
They which builded on the wall, and they that bare burdens, with those that laded, every one with one of his hands wrought in the work, and with the other hand held a weapon (Nehemiah 4:17).
In Nehemiah’s day, as the people built the wall of Jerusalem, they also held their weapons in their hands. They were not just builders but also warriors. With one hand, they built, and with the other hand, they were battle-ready.
